AS A CAMPAIGN WE ARE COMMITTED TO RECYCLING AND REDUCING WASTE; HERE ARE 4 TIPS ON HOW TO MAKE MANUFACTURERS OF LARGE SUPERMARKETS AWARE THAT WE WANT THEM TO HELP REDUCE THE PACKAGING MOUNTAIN. This has worked in other countries.

4 TOP TIPS TO REDUCE YOUR WASTE:

1) Buy bulk (i.e. cereals, large pots of yoghurts) rather than small packs, especially if the expiry date is far off.
2) Don’t wrap up fresh fruits and vegetables twice.
3) When at the till: unwrap all of your ‘double’ packaging such as toothpaste boxes, sleeves over sausages, cereal cardboards, yoghurt plastic covers etc etc. Ask the till staff, where their recycling station is. They may not have one, but they'll soon learn they need one!
4) Bring your own re-usable bags, or purchase some of ours when we have produced them with our slogan “dump-the-dump – reduce the waste” (pre-order by clicking here)

This way we may just get some manufacturers to re-look at their packaging policies.
